Friday at last

I’m so mad at myself. I forgot to call my dad to wish him a happy b-day. I wouldn’t be surprise if he is upset with me or sad ‘because I didn’t call. But you know once I drank a few shots of Patron, pretty much everything disappeared from my mind and sleeping wasn’t a problem last night, lol…

Right now, I’m at the counter and truthfully it’s hell of boring but understandable since its Memorial Day weekend.
Moving on, I don’t know if I want to continue with this diet thing or not, I was pretty disappointed when I weighed myself last night and I gained almost two pounds. So, this morning I was so frustrated because I’ve been eating salad for almost two weeks and I’m getting sick of it. I guess I’ll just try to eat healthy and pull out the tread mill or fix the bike and go from there…
I mean some days I wake up feeling OK, but some others…I just feel like a pig, especially when Will talks about how good I looked to him when we met. I just wish my will power was good enough to try a little harder or just a little longer. Only time will tell how long I last. We'll see what happens, later!!

Happy B-day T!!

What a blast... I can't remember when was the last time that we had this much fun!!! On Saturday we got together at Luis' House to celebrate Tiffany's B-day. The food was great, the drinks were amazing, we even dance.... We need to do this more ofen.

What's up doc??

I know, it's been a while. What can I say, as a woman mood swings tend to be even bigger than anyone else. So now I feel like writing again... You know, I'll be going on vacation with my better half next month and honestly I can't wait to get away... Work has been a little crazy and even though I love to help other and be up for challenges, sometimes you feel like telling everybody to leave alone for at least five minutes. The last couple of weeks I have been on the phone assisting one coworker and at the same time helping another through IM (instant message). After a while it can suck all of the energy out even on the strongest ones. But enough about my whining. Our trip as usual will be to Las Vegas for a WHOLE WEEK, amen to that, lol... We are staying at this new hotel the signature (at the MGM grand) which is a private retreat - no casino, all suites and non-smoking. We have never being much of a gamblers but you can always come down to the MGM if you feel like betting on a few tables. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures. Later

yeah, I know I was supposed to upload the pictures but I just haven't have the energy to sit down in front of the computer. Changing the subject a bit, today was my first day back at the old office and it was nice to see a lot of familiar faces. And even though this move is only temporary (yes, I'll be moving again. This time to the Potrero Office), it was like going back home and by this I mean the same old problems but the same joys... Well, gotta go.

Wedding day

I have to say that the wedding was fabulous... great food, delicious cake and plenty of drinks and snacks; even the DJ was pretty good. Almost perfect!!

It was also the only time that I have seen my dad in a suit and my sister in a dress (see photo of my sister, my nephew and brother) and of course the groom all dress up, same as my little nephew. He looked so nice for the short period of time he kept the suit on, hahaha...

The only bad part of it was the absence of our relatives, the wedding wasn't in our hometown so that made it hard for some people like my grandpa' or my grandma' to travel almost three hours to Guadalajara . But the place was packed with relatives of the bride and coworkers of both of them (yes, they met at work, awwwwww)...
